Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? An exciting opportunity has arisen through our agency for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in Camden.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and specialists to implement tailored strategies.
  • Support the child's academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour in a compassionate manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with ASD, ADHD, or Global Developmental Delay is preferred.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the unique needs of the child.
  • DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
