We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Hackney. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment, where you will play a crucial role in the academic and personal development of students.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students as a Primary School Teaching Assistant, helping them with their academic progress and social development.
Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons and managing classroom behavior.
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and encouraged.
Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
Supervise students during lunch breaks, outings, and other activities as needed.

Requirements:

Preferably previous experience working as a Primary School Teaching Assistant.
A passion for working with children and a strong commitment to supporting their learning and development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to different classroom environments.
An understanding of the primary school curriculum is desirable.
A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
