Primary Teaching Assistant - EYFS / KS1 / KS2

EdEx are currently working with a long-standing client primary school in the Borough of Havering, to find a vibrant and engaging Teaching Assistant to join their team! This diverse primary school is currently looking for a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join their team supporting pupils within EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) KS1, KS2 as well as pupils with SEN (Special Educational Needs).

If you are a graduate who can contribute to this primary school's 'respect, resilience, and readiness' values then this role is for you!

Within your role as a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will provide general support to pupils with their education as well as targeted 1:1 support to pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, Global Delay and Down Syndrome. You will also assist with the management of the class, carry out interventions and deliver programmes tailored to children's needs.If you are keen to find a school that will enable you to progress professionally and personally whilst supporting and encouraging you, this is the school for you.

Primary Teaching Assistant- Role

  • Provide support for pupils across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 with SEN & behavioural requirements
  • Work with groups of children to carry out valuable interventions.
