Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students' learning and development, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, assisting with classwork, assignments, and projects.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN), implementing individualized learning plans and strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.
- Assist teachers with classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide feedback to teachers on student performance and development.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including preparing materials and resources for lessons.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role preferred.
- A passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity in the classroom.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare preferred.
