Remedy are working with a lovely Primary school based in Southwark who are searching for ambitious and dedicated primary teaching assistant to support children with their learning and to ensure a positive and happy environment for them to thrive in.

The clients that Remedy work closely with boast lovely rural settings with great outdoor space for education and training. The staff all work to a team ethos and they work to help build and support each other.

What would working as a Primary Teaching Assistant in Worksop entail?

  • Working hours between 8.30am to 3.45pm
  • Supporting children on both a 1:1 and group basis
  • Implementing creative ideas to bring children on course
  • Having knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 or KS2 curriculum
  • Adhering to the school safeguarding policy and ensuring the safety of all pupils in your care
  • Adhering to the school behaviour policy
  • Completing and encouraging education and training
  • Working in a variety of schools in the Worksop area
  • Temporary work assignments

What do you need to become a Primary Teaching Assistant with Remedy?

  • Experience supporting children within a primary classroom setting
  • A Level 2 or 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (Desireable)
  • An enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process a new one
  • A 'can do' attitude
  • A personable and nurturing approach
  • Willingness to partake in relevant education and training
  • The ability to commute across the area of Worksop
