The Role:
- Supporting children with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours in a nurturing and structured environment.
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning interventions and emotional support.
- Implementing behaviour management strategies to promote positive engagement in lessons.
- Building strong relationships with pupils to encourage confidence and independence.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, or challenging behaviours is desirable.
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach to working with young people.
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to de-escalate situations effectively.
- A passion for supporting vulnerable learners and helping them achieve their full potential.
- Local or a willingness to commute to Lewisham
