GSL Education is looking for a passionate and adaptable SEMH Teacher to join a specialised SEMH school in Camden for the remainder of the academic year. This role is ideal for a dynamic teacher experienced in working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and those with a creative and resilient approach to teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach 8 hours of Maths per week, primarily to Key Stage 2 students.
  • Provide 1:1 support for challenging students, offering tailored learning strategies.
  • Act as a cover teacher for half of your weekly timetable.
  • Adapt lessons and manage behaviours in a supportive, calm manner.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in an SEMH setting is essential.
  • Strong ability to teach Maths up to Key Stage 2 level.
  • Patience, adaptability, and resilience in supporting students with SEMH.
  • Primary teaching experience is desirable.
