Driver Engagement Associate – Account Manager

Location: East London, West Silvertown

Shift Pattern: Rota-based (Mon-Fri), 5 days working week – 2 weekends off, 2 weekends on.

Salary: Up to £31,000

As a Driver Engagement Associate, you will work closely and oversee the whole in-house drivers’ team and take charge of building close-knit relationships, performance reviews and ongoing training.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, lead, train and motivate a team of in-house delivery drivers.
  • Provide constructive feedback to drivers, supporting onboarding and offboarding
  • Work towards growth and improvement of your personal and team KPIs.
  • Handle driver’s inquiries, complaints and routing issues.

Ideal skill set we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally in a similar role and driver engagement and involvement.
  • Ability to adapt to and implement new operational processes in a rapidly growing environment.
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations, logistics and distribution.
  • Proficiency and knowledge in computer systems and software
  • Fantastic interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
