Role Overview:As a Private Client Paralegal, you will support the firm’s Private Client team in providing exceptional legal services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses. This role is ideal for candidates eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment, with a clear pathway toward a training contract in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting fee earners with the preparation of Wills, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
  • Conducting legal research and preparing reports.
  • Drafting and reviewing documents, correspondence, and client care letters.
  • Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, and third parties to gather necessary information.
  • Managing files, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and firm policies.
  • Supporting with estate administration, including preparing probate applications and asset valuations.
  • Assisting with tax planning matters, including Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax considerations.

Requirements:

  • A strong academic background (LLB, GDL, or equivalent).
  • Previous paralegal experience in Private Client law is highly desirable.
  • A genuine interest in Private Client law with a long-term commitment to building a career in this area.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proactive and professional approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in legal research tools and document management systems.
