Director of Engineering – Luxury 5* Hotel, London
Salary: Negotiable
Location: Central London
The Director of Engineering will manage all aspects of safety, maintenance and repairs of the property, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction, whilst being consistent with high standards (including risk management), and achievement of planned profit, through planning, organization and control of the overall engineering operation and department, whilst also overseeing a team of Engineering and Maintenance specialists
Responsibilities:
- Ensures that power generators & RO plants operate and maintained at the highest standards.
- To plan and organize and manage all projects and construction activities.
- Ensures compliance of all areas with the risk management standards.
- Responsible for maintaining the highest fire safety standards.
- Ensures that all electrical, refrigeration, air-conditioning systems and heating systems are operated, maintained and repaired to the highest possible standards, while keeping all related costs under control.
- Implement preventive maintenance programme for all facilities.
- To ensure that all costs of the department, detailed in the revenue plan for the year, are kept under control.
- To develop all team members of the department with appropriate training and coaching.
