Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement strategic procurement and supply chain processes.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure best value.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Oversee the risk management of the supply chain.
- Manage budget and cost within the department.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and apply them to procurement strategies.
Profile
The successful candidate would have:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the FMCG Food industry.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- A solid understanding of procurement and supply chain management processes.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
- Proficient knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices.
- ASAP start.
