This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Manager on a 6 month FTC basis to lead, manage, and develop the key Food & Beverage category spend areas within the business, based in Central London.

Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure best value.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Oversee the risk management of the supply chain.
  • Manage budget and cost within the department.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and apply them to procurement strategies.

Profile

The successful candidate would have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the FMCG Food industry.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • A solid understanding of procurement and supply chain management processes.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices.
  • ASAP start.
