Are you ready to drive the future of data products within a leading media and advertising business? Join a team at the forefront of innovation as a Data Product Manager. With access to unique datasets and a focus on advanced analytics, you'll play a key role in building and delivering data-driven products that enhance customer targeting, advertising effectiveness, and business strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the development of data products, collaborating across the data function to build solutions that help the business generate insights, drive profitability, and improve customer targeting.
- Manage multiple projects at once, including building the "100 Playlist," which helps producers understand trending artists, or assessing the profitability of key partnerships (e.g., with TfL, Network Rail, and BT).
- Work with various stakeholders, from producers and commercial teams to clients using digital advertising exchange (DAX) data for ROI tracking and ad performance insights.
- Drive the creation of a customer identity service using machine learning (like Spotify's recommendation engine) to understand customer interests and behaviors.
- Support the development of self-serve analytics and data products for the growing SME customer base.
THE CANDIDATE:
- Proven experience in managing data products, with a focus on advanced analytics, customer insights, or targeting.
- Strong understanding of how data can be used to drive business decisions and improve customer engagement in a B2B environment.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and product management for data-driven platforms.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.
- Ideally, background in media, advertising, or data-driven product management, but not essential.
