Description
- Manage the end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with policies.
- Deliver training and guidance to colleagues on all aspects of the P2P process, including supplier onboarding and purchase order management.
- Resolve escalated queries and issues promptly via phone, email, or Teams.
- Prepare and provide cover for weekly and ad hoc BACS payment runs to ensure timely payments.
- Monitor workflow progress, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues within the P2P process.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across different departments and locations.
- Provide hands-on management for urgent or critical transactional issues through to resolution.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver a seamless and well-controlled P2P experience.
Profile
- Proven experience in managing the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process or in an Accounts Payable role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of P2P systems and processes, with the ability to efficiently handle payment runs, supplier onboarding, and transaction resolution.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Unit4 ERPx, or similar platforms, and a demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new technology.
- Strong technical skills in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data management, reporting, and analysis.
- The ability to navigate complex workflows, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues independently and effectively.
- A solid understanding of financial controls, compliance standards, and best practices within the accounts payable function.
- Capability to deliver training and support to colleagues on technical processes, ensuring smooth system usage across the organisation.
