Product Owner - 12-Month Contract, Hybrid, £575 per Day (Inside IR35)

About the Role As a Product Owner, you will join an innovative and dynamic CRM team within a purpose-driven organisation focused on supporting seller operations worldwide. This team is dedicated to developing cutting-edge solutions that streamline processes and boost operational efficiency, delivering high value to both the business and its customers.

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the product roadmap, bringing new product ideas from concept to completion using Salesforce technology. Your expertise will help simplify complex issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer problems and business priorities, enabling the delivery of scalable, high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap, collaborating closely with CRM team members and engaging business stakeholders.
  • Manage a robust product backlog, setting priorities based on evolving requirements and organisational needs.
  • Oversee all product development stages, from scoping and discovery to design, development, and support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture, understand, and document business requirements.
  • Recommend organisational improvements by aligning structure, policies, and operations with goals to maximise business value.
  • Create user stories and detailed process maps to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions.
  • Partner with developers and QA teams to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and deliver intended outcomes.
  • Plan and facilitate sessions with stakeholders, including requirement gatherings, system demonstrations, and user acceptance testing.
  • Lead prioritisation discussions with the SCRUM Master and Business Analysts, managing risks and escalating issues where necessary.
  • Coach and support champion users within various teams to maximise success.
  • Provide ongoing production support, collaborating with the technical team to resolve user issues and effectively communicating solutions.
  • Document use cases and business, system, and functional requirements, driving product adoption and enhancing user satisfaction.
  • Oversee the product lifecycle, conducting regular health reviews to ensure ongoing performance and alignment with business needs.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Product Owner or technical product leader within a large-scale enterprise setting, ideally in eCommerce or marketplaces.
  • Experience with Salesforce solutions and products 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience in leveraging data insights to address business challenges.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organisational levels and managing stakeholders.
  • Proactive and adaptable leader with strong multitasking capabilities, comfortable managing several projects in a fast-paced, outcome-focused environment.
  • Ability to influence teams and leadership, building consensus around key initiatives.
  • Collaborative and flexible team player, adept at working across functional teams, locations, and time zones.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile environments is desirable.
  • Experience in eCommerce or with large technology organisations like Amazon, Ebay, Google etc is an advantage.
