A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced, senior marketing professional with a commercial mind-set and collaborative approach, to join a progressive international firm to support the growth of the firm’s reputation, recognition and relationships through the delivery of compelling marketing and thought leadership campaigns.
You will be joining the firm’s Business Developing & Marketing function, a team of approximately 50 professionals who partner with the firm in the development of their business, building relationships with existing and potential clients and managing the firm’s market profile. Managing annual marketing budgets and leading the teams delivering brand management, design and events, you will advise Partners, Associates and Business Development teams on the creation of successful marketing strategies and campaigns in order to support the firm’s goals through the utilisation of all channels, including digital channels and client and internal events, ensuring ongoing innovation to keep approaches fresh and relevant. There is a lot for the role holder to achieve and the firm are looking for someone who can really bridge the gap between the BD and Marketing teams. The firm need someone inspiring, good at persuading and a facilitator of change. The successful applicant will be able to make the role their own and bring a new energy to a good team. There is a huge appetite from Senior Management and the Partners so this is a great opportunity for someone to bring their knowledge and creativity. Thought leadership will be a key area of focus. You will be expected to proactively identify, initiate and implement thought leadership campaigns, advising on current topics and subject matter for campaigns, client insights and communications, and will work closely with Partners, Knowledge lawyers and the PR team to drive the creation of quality content. In 2023 the firm undertook a major rebrand exercise and it will be the responsibility of the Senior Marketing and Content Manager to further develop and maintain a compelling brand proposition and deliver the firm’s brand strategy in line with business strategy.
A committed team-player with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication and proof-reading skills combined with a talent for generating content, the ideal candidate will be a seasoned team leader with an in-depth understanding of the importance of marketing campaigns and brand to successful organisations and proven experience of working with leadership teams to develop and deliver effective marketing strategies, content and campaigns within a professional services environment, ideally in a law firm. A motivated professional who is able to hit the ground running, the Senior Marketing and Content Manager will be a trusted advisor who is able to inspire and create a shared vision of success whilst working under pressure and managing tight deadlines.
