Stock Condition Surveyor

One of the largest housing associations is looking for a dedicated Stock Condition Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers, ensuring high-quality programmes that align with business objectives and meet customer expectations, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
Day to Day of the role:
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and external agencies.
* Support the delivery of planned, cyclical, and maintenance programmes in line with the Asset Management Strategy.
* Engage proactively with residents to determine programme priorities and service needs.
* Contribute to developing customer expectations and stakeholder involvement in project programmes.
* Analyse customer feedback and performance data to inform programme delivery.
* Address any underperformance or service failures to meet programme targets and operational KPIs.
* Liaise with external organisations as required.
* Manage health & safety issues relevant to the role, including compliance with CDM regulations and site safety.
* Conduct stock condition surveys, HHSRS surveys, Fire Risk Assessments, and DDA audits.
* Provide solutions to property issues and inform future work programmes.
* Update the Asset Management database with survey data and generate necessary reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience in conducting stock condition surveys for occupied and void properties and communal areas.
* Proficiency in carrying out decent homes assessments and HHSRS assessments.
* HND/HNC in Building or equivalent qualification.
* Experience in conducting DDA audits and fire risk assessments in communal residential areas.
* BOHS P402 certification is desirable but not essential.
* Understanding of health and safety risks associated with Stock Condition Survey work.
* Relevant technical or professional qualification is desirable.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
* Strong numeracy, IT, team working, and communication skills.
