Job Description: As a Development Engineer, you will spearhead the design and development of impactful medical devices, providing leadership to a diverse team to navigate projects from concept to reality, all while ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of complex mechanical components for cutting-edge medical devices, emphasizing functionality, manufacturability, and regulatory adherence.
  • Provide expert guidance to cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing, ensuring seamless integration of mechanical systems.
  • Conduct and oversee feasibility studies, risk assessments, and performance testing to validate design concepts.
  • Generate and oversee the maintenance of detailed engineering documentation, encompassing CAD models, drawings, and specifications.
  • Lead design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in mechanical design for medical devices or a similarly regulated industry.
  • Proficiency in advanced CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (ISO 13485, FDA).
