You will be reporting into the Head of PMO Operations and is will be responsible for the management, strategic implementation and successful delivery of scientific or technical projects and programmes. My client is a Not for Profit based in London.

Description

  • Oversee and manage the life science portfolio
  • Lead and inspire the technology team
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews
  • Develop and implement portfolio strategies
  • Facilitate inter-departmental communication
  • Ensure alignment of portfolio with corporate goals
  • Monitor and report on portfolio performance
  • Drive innovation in life science technologies

Profile

  • Experience and technical understanding in early development and / or discovery research within the life-sciences industry
  • Ability to critically and objectively interpret and evaluate scientific, technical and business-related information, and challenge assumptions.
  • Excellent planning and organising skills with ability to set clear expectations, drive accountability and the tenacity to drive projects to conclusion.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, ability to influence without authority in a matrix environment.
  • Skilled in building external networks to access capabilities to support delivery
  • Able to right size the project management tool set to meet requirements of exceptional portfolio delivery without over engineering processes and requirements.
