Role Purpose
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Service Manager, you will play a key role in implementing and supporting the Practice Assurance Framework. Your efforts will focus on developing high-quality, responsive services that drive our Outstanding Practice Framework and ensure effective support for children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance Activities: Conduct reflective Learning Episodes (case audits), dip-sampling, thematic reviews, and multi-agency assurance projects to assess and improve the quality and impact of our practice.
- Learning Culture: Lead initiatives that create a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring child and family voices are central to practice evaluation and improvement.
- Collaborative Development: Work closely with Workforce Development to organise thematic practice weeks and integrate audit findings into updated practice guidance and procedures.
- Communication and Influence: Present findings, insights, and recommendations through reports, workshops, and strategic meetings to inform and improve service delivery.
- Anti-discriminatory Practice: Promote anti-racist, inclusive practices and foster a safe and supportive environment for all staff and service users.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Social Work England registration with experience as a qualified social worker.
- Experience in Quality Assurance within social care, with a passion for impactful practice improvements.
- Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Skilled in engaging with internal and external partners, promoting a collaborative approach to service improvement.
- Commitment to Equality: Dedication to anti-discriminatory and anti-racist practice, challenging any unjust behaviours and fostering an inclusive environment.
