Our client is an innovative fintech company transforming the global transfer agency landscape. Their mission is to modernise legacy systems, reduce operational inefficiencies, and drive industry-leading innovation through cutting-edge technology.
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced European Product Manager to lead the development and management of their offshore transfer agency product portfolio. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and senior stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of market-leading solutions in the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the product expert on transfer agency processes, focusing on Irish and Luxembourg jurisdictions, but also generalised processes across multiple jurisdictions
- Translate industry expertise into clear business requirements and collaborate with Business Analysts to prepare these for the development process.
- Act as the Product Owner in the development lifecycle, ensuring efficient progress and preventing any development roadblocks.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to discuss solutions and align on product goals and requirements.
- Work closely with solution architects to develop creative and effective solutions that meet client and market needs.
- Participate in Agile software development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure successful product delivery.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain competitive and compliant.
Must have:
- Extensive experience in transfer agency operations within a European context, with a focus on Irish and Luxembourg jurisdictions.
- Ability to translate complex knowledge into actionable business requirements and work effectively with Business Analysts.
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Ability to work with solution architects to develop innovative solutions.
- Ideal but not essential - familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Desirable:
- Experience serving as a Product Owner or in a similar role within a technology company.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and FIGMA
- Process Mapping and Design experience using tools such as Lucid Spark, Draw.IO, Visio etc
