- Oversee the full lifecycle of the Corporate Net-Zero Standard, including strategy formulation, development, implementation, maintenance, and updates.
- Act as the central point of responsibility for the standard, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations, regulatory developments, and scientific advancements.
- Lead a cross-functional team to deliver a credible, science-based framework that drives impactful corporate climate action.
- Engage with key internal and external stakeholders, gathering insights and ensuring standard adoption and alignment.
- Develop and communicate a clear strategic vision for the Corporate Net-Zero Standard in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Manage resources efficiently, set clear priorities, and mitigate risks to achieve project objectives.
- Deputise for the Head of Corporate Standards, managing staff and fostering their professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative, respectful, and integrity-driven organisational culture.
- Proven experience in standards development and translating complex scientific concepts into clear frameworks for industry professionals.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in sustainability, environmental management, or related fields, including senior roles with people and project management responsibilities.
- Strong track record in delivering high-quality outputs on time and within budget.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate sustainability, net-zero frameworks, science-based target setting, and greenhouse gas accounting.
- Solid experience leading cross-functional teams, including managing virtual or distributed team environments.
- Knowledge of regulatory trends and requirements in climate disclosure and reporting (e.g., TCFD, CDP, GHG Protocol).
