Oracle HCM Product Lead

Join our client’s innovative Business Services team, a new initiative designed to streamline services and support for the organisation. This role is pivotal in delivering modern, user-centric HR solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support strategic goals. As the Product Lead for Human Resources, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of HR services within our client’s organisation.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on the product vision and progress.
  • Manage and support a team of product analysts who are subject matter experts, capable of making functional changes to the product and collaborating with third parties to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Align with peers across the organisation to ensure a consistent approach to product management.
  • Define and prioritise product features through extensive collaboration and negotiation, supported by data-driven outcomes and value assessments.
  • Analyse customer feedback and other data to identify pain points and drive improvements that enhance user experience and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with development teams (both internal and external) to support product development, documenting and presenting technology proposals to the Head of Product.
  • Drive continuous improvement in technical solutions that support the strategic priorities of the organisation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in product management or functional experience, with at least 2 years within HR systems.
  • Experience as a product manager, functional lead, or owner, preferably within an internal product space.a
  • Familiarity with SaaS-based solutions, particularly Oracle ERP HCM Cloud, is beneficial.
  • Experience in the public sector, with policing experience being highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of project management for technology development and implementations.
  • Proven track record of managing a small team, providing clear direction, support, and resolution.
  • Knowledge of shaping product strategy and delivering product capabilities aligned with business strategies.
  • Educated to a high level, with practical knowledge of core end-to-end services across HR teams.
