Senior Product Manager (Report It Product Line)
£550/day
Hybrid (At least 1 day per week at City Hall Office, near Victoria)
About the Role:
An experienced Senior Product Manager is being sought to join an ambitious and innovative team working on the Report It product, an AI-enabled reporting tool that is transforming local government services. As the Report It product continues its development, this role will play a key part in guiding its evolution, contributing to the delivery of an exciting roadmap through to the end of the 2024/2025 financial year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead product management efforts within an agile product team focused on the Report It product line.
- Drive the delivery of new features, such as reporting for noise, vehicles, streets, and bicycles, ensuring integration with existing council processes and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including delivery managers, software developers, data analysts, researchers, and designers.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure product decisions are understood and aligned with organisational goals.
- Manage fast-paced, complex programmes with defined outputs and timelines, ensuring the product meets business needs and user expectations.
- Make informed product decisions, confidently communicating progress and goals within the team.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience working in agile product teams.
- Proven experience in senior-level product management within a product team.
- A strong track record of managing complex, fast-paced projects with defined outputs and deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a "can do" attitude.
- Evidence of effective decision-making, ensuring product decisions are clearly communicated within the team.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience with AI technology, particularly in product development.
- Familiarity with local or central government environments.
Working Environment:
- Hybrid working model, with a requirement to be in the City Hall office at least one day per week (near Victoria).
- Join a dedicated product team within the Report It product line, reporting to the Lead Product Manager.
