Position Overview: Our Client seeks an experienced MEP UK Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and enhance its quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, particularly in large-scale subcontracting environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and policies for MEP projects.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify quality risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives for quality-related issues.
- Train and mentor staff on quality assurance best practices and procedures.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project specifications are met.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role within the MEP sector, particularly with large subcontractors.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, construction processes, and relevant quality standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) are a plus.
