About the Technical and Specifications Assistant job
Your role as Technical and Specifications Assistant will be to provide technical support by liaising regularly with both suppliers and customers on technical requirements.
Key tasks
- Develop and maintain product specifications with recipe from product developer
- Help with maintenance of QMS (Quality Management System) updating documents as required
- Ensure that raw material and packaging specifications are up to date
- Help co-ordinate HACCP reviews and other formal review meetings
- Check compliance on raw material supplier certification
About You
You may be a recent Graduate in a relevant subject such as Food Science or Food Technology, or alternatively you may already have some food manufacturing technical experience - or even a combination of both.
Other qualifications such as legal food labelling, food safety or HACCP would be ideal but not vital - as would experience of BRC standards.
