We've got a great role for an Electrical Shift Leader to join a market leading building service provider on a fantastic, state of the art, commercial property in Liverpool Street. Great role to develop leadership skills, work in a great working environment and be part of a tight knit team.As an Electrical Shift Leader, you will be overseeing a team of maintenance engineers, allocate PPM / reactive schedules, book in subcontractors, report into the Contract Manager whilst also remaining on the hands on engineering on mechanical and electrical commercial systems (PPM and reactive maintenance). This is a static role, following a fixed shift of 4 on / 4 off, (day and night shifts)To be successful in this role, you will need to be fully qualified in Electrical Installations, (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) + C&G / EAL 2382-15 or 2382-22, at least 5 years experience in commercial building maintenance, the ability to lead a team and a very client facing attitude.Electrical Shift Leader Duties:

  • PPMs & Reactive maintenance
  • Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
  • Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
  • Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
  • Organising subcontractors
  • Completing logbooks and RAMS
  • Reports
  • Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
  • Permits to work
  • Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary.

Electrical Shift Leader Requirements:

  • Fully qualified in Electrical Installations, (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) + C&G / EAL 2382-15 or 2382-22
  • At least 5 years experience in commercial building maintenance
  • Client facing attitude
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Experience in a critical environment would be desirable, not essential
