4Site Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced M&E supervisor with a strong plumbing background. Our client is a well-established and highly regarded company in the commercial scene.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team on a full time permanent basis. This role is ideal for individuals with on-site supervisory experience within the mechanical and plumbing industry. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong M&E background, supervisory experience, and hold a JIB White/Gold Card. You will be working across various sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee mechanical installations, maintenance, and repairs across various sites, ensuring the work is completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.
  • Manage and lead a team of mechanical operatives, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Monitor and inspect work to ensure it meets both client and regulatory standards.
  • Enforce site safety protocols and ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the client, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, including job sheets, compliance documentation, and safety reports.
  • Address any technical issues or challenges on-site in a timely manner to ensure project progression.
  • Ensure the correct materials and resources are available for the team to complete the project.
Key Requirements:
  • 1-2 years minimum of experience supervising temporary site services.
  • Must hold a valid JIB White/Gold Card and either have supervisory experience or equivalent qualifications in mechanical services.
  • Skills:
    • Strong mechanical knowledge and practical experience.
    • Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
    • Familiarity with health and safety procedures and regulations.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Problem-solving abilities to address any issues that arise during the project.
  • A company van and fuel card will be provided for travel to and from sites, or a travel allowance can be arranged depending on the location of the sites.
  • The role requires flexibility with travel and working hours, as you will be working across various sites.
