We are working with a well respected medium sized M&E contractor with a turnover of circa 40m and a strong presence delivering across the commercial fit out sector for leading main contractors who are looking for a mechanical supervisor to join their business to initially work on a 4m M&E cat A (and a little bit of cat B) scheme near Charring Cross.

Reporting to a mechanical project manager you will join from the very beginning of the scheme and be tasked with managing and motivating a section of the specialist mechanical subcontractor packages through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee mechanical operations and liaise with subcontractors and the general contractor (GC)
  • Ensure project milestones are met and assist with closing out the project
  • Manage mechanical installations and ensure all work complies with quality and safety standards
  • Provide leadership on-site, resolving issues promptly and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Experience:Previous experience in large-scale main contracting projects, specifically with M&E subcontractors or general contractors
  • Certifications:SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification required
  • Skills:Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and construction processes
