C# Software Engineer (Junior - Mid) London to 80k

Do you enjoy collaborating and working on complex systems with cutting edge technology? As a C# Software Engineer you'll join a cross functional Agile product team responsible for high-value business critical betting execution systems. You'll be building systems to manage large datasets which can process updates in real-time with high throughput and low latency; these systems are released with high frequency with technology choices that are continuously evolving.

There's a focus on backend development with C# .Net and Kubernetes however you will work across the full stack, using TypeScript and React on the client side. You'll take ownership of projects and collaborate with a team of highly skilled engineers as well as business stakeholders, continually learning, assessing new technologies and making recommendations within a flat structure.

Location / WFH:

You'll be based in fantastic offices in a vibrant area of London with in-house gym and steam room, games room with pool tables and dart boards, library and free high quality catering (breakfast, lunch, dinner) from the onsite chef with flexibility to work from home two days a week (please note that during probation you will be required onsite five days a week).

About you:

  • You're degree educated in a STEM discipline, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics preferred, 2.1 or above from a top tier university (e.g. Russel Group, Oxbridge, World top 100)
  • You have C# serverside development skills, including .Net Core and multi-threading
  • You have a good knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes
  • The tech stack also includes JavaScript / TypeScript and React for client side applications; experience with any of these would be beneficial but you can pick them up on the job
  • You're commercially aware and keen to understand the business impact of what you do
  • You have excellent communication, collaboration and problem solving skills
  • Ideally you will have an interest in sports with an understanding of betting
