Alexander Lloyd is partnered with another Leading Pensions Consultancy in the UK, widely renowned and award-winning firm who are now looking for experienced Buy-Ins & Buy-Outs professionals, in technical and project management focused roles! As such I'm recruiting for a Pensions Transaction Project Lead in Reading to join their growing Risk Settlement team. Our client offers hybrid working arrangement for staff!

About the role:

The Risk Settlement team is one of the fastest growing business areas, working alongside trustees and insurer to help navigate schemes through buy-in, buy-outs and wind ups. This is a brilliant opportunity for candidates with exposure of de-risking projects with a strong DB background looking to expand into project and client management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Risk Settlement team with the buy-in and buy-out process
  • Project management and lead on de-risking activities efficiently and within budget.
  • Liaise with clients, trustees, and insurers as well as internal teams across the business.
  • Contribute to new business, potentially assist with new business tenders and presentations.
  • Prepare and deliver documentation to clients.

Key skills and experience required:

  • Experience of de-risking activities, such as buy-ins, buy-outs, wind ups etc.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Be able to demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge of rules and procedures relating to Defined Benefits Schemes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and build strong working relationships.
