Venn Group are working with a Local Authority in London to recruit an interim Transformation Programme Manager to support a departmental restructure.

The successful Transformation Programme Manager will have worked on restructure programmes across a variety of services. The client is ideally looking for broad transformation experience across a range of service areas, as opposed to a specialist subject matter expert e.g.  social care focus only.  

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite per week in London and is inside IR35.  

Transformation Programme Manager skills and responsibilities:

  • Support the design and implementation of the departmental restructure as envisioned by the senior leadership team
  • Manage the delivery phase of the restructure, ensuring alignment with the strategic goals and desired end state
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and transition
  • Experience delivering similar projects within other local authorities
  • Experience driving programmes forward, and working with operational staff and senior leaders
  • Building relationships across and beyond the council, and ability to influence senior leaders and steer change
