Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced BMS (Building Management System) Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of BMS projects across London. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of BMS, excellent project management skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Delivery: Manage the end-to-end delivery of BMS projects, from initial design and planning to commissioning and handover.
- Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
- Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, ensure cost efficiency, and manage financial reporting.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance on BMS installations, including HVAC controls, energy management, and system integration.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant health & safety regulations and industry standards.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth execution and client satisfaction.
- Team Coordination: Lead and support engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project timelines and quality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a BMS Project Manager, ideally in a construction or building services environment.
- Strong knowledge of BMS systems (e.g., Trend, Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider, Tridium, etc.).
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Understanding of HVAC, energy management, and building automation principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage clients, stakeholders, and contractors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and BMS-related tools.
- Relevant engineering, electrical, or building services qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree preferred).
- Prince2, SMSTS, or PMP certifications (desirable but not essential).
