We are working with a leading design and build fit-out contractor who are part of a larger group who, specialize in transforming commercial spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. They are looking for a passionate Project Manager to embark on an exciting 12 million fit-out project in central London.
Role Overview:
As the Freelance Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the fit-out project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with designers, contractors, and stakeholders, managing resources and mitigating risks to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire project life-cycle from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure design integrity and compliance.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are adhered to on-site.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the design and build fit-out sector.
- Strong understanding of commercial office space requirements and regulations.
- Exceptional organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
