Junior Project Manager Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Project Manager in delivering projects of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to processes, timely completion of documentation, and providing regular progress reports to the Senior Project Manager.
  • Collaborate with the design and construction teams to develop and manage project schedules, ensuring all milestones are achieved on time.
  • Foster and maintain strong communication and relationships with both suppliers and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project budgets, monitor financial performance, and work to optimise profitability and control costs.
  • Prepare risk assessments and method statements for client approval.
  • Handle the operational and administrative tasks of a project, ensuring efficiency and high-quality standards.
  • Support the Senior Project Manager in the planning and execution of larger-scale projects, ensuring smooth delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures, particularly for live events and production environments.
  • Lead post-project reviews, sharing key insights and lessons learned with the wider team.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company continues to work in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

Junior Project Manager Skills and Experience:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, with a strong aptitude for building relationships and collaborating effectively within teams.
  • Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with a keen ability to manage time efficiently.
