Salter Grange is recruiting an multidisciplined MEP Project Manager to join a highly regarded Engineering Specialist on a Data Centre project to deliver a £50M Infrastructure Upgrade in London.
 
The MEP Project Manager will ideally be electrical biased and have a track record of delivering MEP packages.
 
As an MEP Project Manager, you will be reporting to the Project Director and act as the main site liaison for all aspects of MEP packages in the project scope, including Electrical, Mechanical, Sprinkler, Generator and will manage a team of package managers on site.
 
MEP Project Manager responsibilities:

  • Management of the Electrical & Mechanical Systems packages.
  • Management of all day-to-day site operations
  • Coordination of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels
  • Coordination of the snagging system ensuring that the supervisors return weekly punch lists where applicable. Ensure all snags are distributed to all Sub-contractors
  • Ensure all Sub-contractor documentation including safety documentation is maintained up to date and filed for future reference.
  • Liaise with & maintain strong relationships with the client team.
  • Oversee coordination of works between the various M&E scope items & ensure alignment with overall site works.

 
MEP Project Manager Requirements:

  • Trade or Degree Qualified in an Electrical or Building Services discipline
  • 7+ years’ experience in construction, ideally with experience in the Data Centre sector.
  • At least three years in a senior position with the ability to manage large and diverse teams
