This is a role for a project administrator to join a large scale engineering company who covers multiple projects across the London area. The company covers M&E, Rail, Civils and many other types of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to find a stable position for themselves which will offer the opportunity for growth an progression.

The Administrator will support the smooth operation of projects by managing the flow of information and documentation efficiently. This role involves distribution of drawings while maintaining comprehensive records for site teams, design teams, subcontractors, clients, and external suppliers. They will play a crucial role in maintaining project organization and compliance with internal and client guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Document Management:

  • Maintain company filing systems, ensuring accurate organization and easy access for team members.
  • Number documents for identification and reference according to company and client guidelines.
  • Archive and maintain records for both active and completed projects.

Coordination and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with project team members to verify document requirements and fulfil necessary tasks.
  • Append comments, track revisions, and submit documents into project systems or client portals.
  • Liaise with site teams, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure proper document flow.

Drawing and Document Control:

  • Review and monitor the progress of drawing revisions.
  • Ensure controlled copies of the latest approved documents and drawings are accurately stored and uploaded into the system.
  • Ensure that all internal records and trackers are updated as required and contain accurate, up-to-date information
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with company and client requirements.
