Rare and exciting opportunity to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor in a leadership, Project Director position who are at the peak of the Construction industry on major projects up to 50million to 100million. These projects are within the Custodial, Residential and Commercial Sectors.
Responsibilities of the Project Director
As the Project Director you will be responsible for monitoring the build progress, ensuring quality delivery and overseeing finance. You will be managing a team of Project Managers and will provide leadership and directions to your team.
Your day to day will include:
- Managing the pre construction phase against programme in readiness for the construction phase.
- Managing operational communications and relationships with customers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and government agencies
- Implementing the project plan and ensuring compliance with the contractual terms and conditions.
- Managing a multi discipline teams to deliver against the client expectations
- Timely and accurate reporting on progress to the client
The Ideal Candidate
This role requires a highly experienced person in major construction projects. A Tier 1 Main contractor background is ideal for this role.
You should also have;
- Strong technical and operational credentials within tier 1 construction sectors.
- The ability to manage budgets, programmes and resources
- The ability to manage senior teams
- Delivery of similar schemes
