Description:

The Manager of Security Programs supports the Senior Manager of Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing Security in developing and delivering security objectives, goals, and strategies worldwide, with a functional scope that includes:

  • Program build and project management
  • Governance documentation
  • Security program quality assurance
  • Metrics management

Responsibilities:

  • This role is global in scope and supports the Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing Security to develop, build, sustain, and promote global security strategies.
  • Define, align and establish governance and systems to support the team's global strategy to achieve best in class standards. Upgrade and manage Security and Market Safety's management systems, generating trends and leading indicators in an accurate and timely digital manner.
  • Develop processes and standards to carry out assessments and audits for affiliates. Utilize and integrate existing and new digital tools. Contribute to the creation of reports for mandatory and voluntarily reporting.
  • Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain and Manufacturing Security, oversees assigned projects of global importance:

Redesign of security management programs

Ongoing and new productivity and resource optimization initiatives

Centralized oversight and assurance of security operations

Standardization and programmatic delivery of content to regions/markets

Development and implementation of key performance indicators and related metrics

  • Strengthens central oversight and support to regions/markets. Build a central project tracker to track projects to completion, with key milestones and oversight safeguards.
  • Manages complex security projects and facilitates efficient communication across all levels of a project to ensure consistency in reaching the project's goal, and to help in the recognition of any potential opportunities, risks or complications.
  • Promotes a strong culture of governance and produces appropriate Security governance documentation, in line with Principles & Practices, to support projects and programs. Supports overall program management office with documentation, including but not limited to standards and procedures.
  • Act as a point of contact for procurement processes and manage key vendors/service providers for Security and Market Safety. Supports in providing oversight to key security service providers.
  • Act as a point of contact for financial oversight, managing reporting to Security and Market Safety leadership and proactively identify opportunities for efficiencies through analysis.
  • Identifies opportunities to work with cross-functional teams and sustains strong cross-functional partnerships.
  • Supports the build-out for and promotion of a culture of security awareness across the company.
  • Facilitates sharing of best practices across regions, affiliates, and markets.
  • Ability to demonstrate a balance between initiative and receiving and adapting to continuous feedback.

Experience

  • Experience in corporate security management, security technology management, or key account management role with a security vendor, preferably with regional or global experience
  • Prefer previous experience in a multinational company with exposure to cutting edge corporate security practices
  • Ability to build consensus across a matrixed organizations; strong interpersonal skills
  • Prefer previous experience in managing budgets and/or P&L
  • Past experience creating content including policies and procedures
  • General awareness of political, security, and operational trends
  • Knowledge of industry best practices; experience working with external partners/providers a plus
  • Training or certifications in security risk management and/or project management a plus
