Job Summary:The Project Manager (Facade) will oversee the planning, management, and coordination of façade works and associated subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle. This role prioritises safety, collaboration, and adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and sustainability targets. Additionally, the PM will support the SPM during the early stages, managing planning, design, and procurement aspects of the roof system package.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide regular progress reports for the Superstructure and Concourse, detailing costs, forecasts, and any issues requiring resolution. Attend delivery meetings and deputise for the Senior Project Manager when necessary.
- Coordinate between construction, design, procurement, and commercial departments to ensure timely award of superstructure subcontracts.
- Establish a high-performing superstructure team by setting clear SMART targets and adhering to the performance management process.
- Foster a collaborative environment among the team, stakeholders, and supply chain, ensuring effective communication and site organisation.
- Manage receipt of instructions from the client Project Manager team, ensuring clarity on authority levels and contractual communication.
- Oversee the performance management process and ensure the necessary training is provided.
- Ensure all works comply with HS2 standards, promoting "right first-time" workmanship and continuous improvement through lessons learned reviews.

- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to report at project level.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation, including the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, Construction Health and Safety Regulations, and CDM Regulations.
- Commercial acumen and experience in project controls and budget delivery.
- Familiarity with NEC contracts and construction industry standards.
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and team-building skills.
- Degree or equivalent in a numerate discipline (Engineering preferred), or significant experience in a related field.
- Chartered status or equivalent professional recognition (e.g., ICE).
- Proficient in BIM, AutoCAD, and collaborative platforms.
- Valid CSCS Card and completed Safety for Senior Managers training.
- Extensive experience in managing complex infrastructure projects, ideally within station or transport interchange builds, including piling and reinforced concrete structures.
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
- Experience working with major infrastructure clients (e.g., TfL) and managing consents, utility suppliers, and stakeholders.
