Role:
Our client is entering a rapid period of growth, delivering long-term partnering contracts with many of their clients. Due to expansion within one of the key frameworks, they have been awarded more work in South London.We are therefore looking to add Project Managers to the team to help deliver all works across the scheme on a Temp to Perm basis, with a focus on Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) and External Wall Insulation (EWI) projects.
Responsibilities:
As Project Manager, you will oversee and manage the execution of SHDF and EWI projects, ensuring that all activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will be responsible for the overall project delivery, from initial planning to completion, overseeing both external and planned work.
This will involve:
- Accountability for all project operations, including managing both operatives and subcontractors.
- Implementing and reviewing the client's critical success factors for the project to ensure project success.
- Ensuring that the quality and programme standards are adhered to, avoiding any post-completion defects.
- Maintaining high standards of safety and quality throughout the project's lifecycle.
- Ensuring that the project delivery plan is followed, meeting cost and time frame expectations.
- Project Managers play a vital role in the successful delivery of these SHDF and EWI projects, contributing to the decarbonisation and improvement of social housing.
Key Experience Required:
- Previous experience with Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) projects and External Wall Insulation (EWI) is essential.
- Planned Maintenance and refurbishment experience required.
- Construction-related NVQ / HNC Level 4 and above.
- Relevant CSCS card and SMSTS certificate.
- Sound knowledge and compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Full UK driving license.
