Our client is a highly respected main contractor specializing in high-end residential and commercial refurbishment and fit-out projects. Over the past five years, they’ve experienced steady growth, building a reputation for excellence and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
 
Led by directors with 50+ years of combined industry experience, they are now looking for Project Managers with trade experience who want to be part of a dynamic team.

Your Role as a Project Manager:
As a Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of projects ranging from £1m to £8m, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining the company’s reputation while leading exciting projects in some of London’s most sought-after areas.
 
Key Responsibilities for Project Manager:
  • Lead projects from initiation to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Manage budgets, track expenditure, and provide accurate financial reporting.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and adherence to safety standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring contingency plans are in place.
Team Leadership:
  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and clear communication.
  • Support and mentor team members to ensure they perform to the best of their abilities.
  • Manage resources effectively, including staff, materials, and equipment.
Health and Safety:
  • Maintain the highest standards of health and safety on-site.
  • Implement and monitor site-specific health and safety plans.
  • Conduct regular audits and promptly address any issues.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A trade background with proven experience in project management within high-end residential and commercial refurbishment/fit-out.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Solid knowledge of contract management and construction regulations.
  • Excellent financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
