Apex Resources are looking for a Project Manager to work with a London based client on a luxury retail fit out project.Â
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects in the super prime, ultra high-end fit out sector. You will lead a team of talented professionals and collaborate closely with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, within budget, and on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, including project planning, scoping, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, including architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is progressing according to the project plans and quality standards.
- Manage project budgets, including cost control, financial forecasting, and contract administration.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to source and select high-quality materials, finishes, and furnishings.
- Oversee the implementation of health and safety procedures and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and recommendations.
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate would have strong experience as a Project Manager in central London working in the super prime, ultra high-end fit out sector.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering high-profile projects with a focus on luxury residential or commercial spaces.
- In-depth knowledge of construction and fit-out processes, materials, and finishes.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- SMSTS & First Aid are essential
