We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Design & Build Project Manager to join our client and lead the successful execution of complex office fit-out projects across London with experience of 2M+. This role requires a deep understanding of design and construction processes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage projects from start to finish within a demanding environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of Design & Build office fit-out projects, from initial concept design through to completion, ensuring seamless integration of design and construction.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate effectively with architects, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and requirements.
  • Oversee the selection and management of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services, and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards, prioritizing safety and a secure work environment.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks related to project delivery, including delays, budget issues, or technical challenges, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including specifications, drawings, schedules, and budgets, ensuring clear and organized records.
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients, keeping everyone informed and ensuring transparency.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience as a Design & Build Project Manager on office fit-out projects, ideally within the London market.
  • Strong understanding of design and construction processes, with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes and meeting client expectations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • A proactive and problem-solving approach, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and overcome challenges.


Qualifications:

  • Degree or qualifications in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is desirable.
