Our Water consultancy client are seeking Project Managers to delivery both clean and wastewater Capital Delivery Projects across the Thames Water region.


As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of capital delivery projects in the water sector. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of capital delivery projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Coordinate with engineering, environmental, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance and successful project outcomes.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, adjusting plans as necessary to achieve goals.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in project management within the water sector, particularly in capital delivery projects.
  • Strong understanding of water infrastructure, regulations, and sustainability practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • APM/PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
