Senior Mechanical Project Manager - Mechanical

 

Company: 

A well respected £350M turnover M&E contractor are looking for an experienced Mechanical Senior Project Manager to join their team on a high profile project based in central London. 

Reporting to the Project Director, you will lead the day-to-day mechanical operational management on the project including design, procurement, installation, logistics, compliance, commissioning, and project handover.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with design, engineering, construction, and commissioning processes.
  • Enhance the design process by challenging methods and techniques to improve buildability and reduce costs.
  • Develop and enforce project controls and compliance.
  • Lead and document lessons learned for future projects.
  • Manage the project plan, set milestones, and ensure key deliverables. Create contingency plans.
  • Oversee commercial and contractual aspects, including financial forecasting and profit improvement plans.
  • You will ensure delivery on time, commercial performance, governance, and adherence to our values throughout all phases of the project to the satisfaction of the client.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing large MEP packages
  • Ability to manage multiple disciplines and work sequencing.
  • Proven track record in delivering contracts on time and within budget.
