Role Overview:
As a Senior MEP Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the MEP aspects of a high-profile commercial fit-out project in Oxford Circus. This will involve managing all aspects of the mechanical and electrical works, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Take full responsibility for the MEP delivery of the project from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification.
  • Client Liaison: Regularly communicate with the client, main contractors (Mace, Overbury, BW Interiors), and other stakeholders to ensure clear and consistent progress updates.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers, subcontractors, and site staff, ensuring effective communication and coordination to deliver the MEP works successfully.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Manage project costs and ensure financial targets are met, working closely with the commercial team to track project budgets, variations, and invoicing.
  • Health & Safety: Uphold the highest standards of health and safety on-site, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Quality Control: Oversee quality assurance for all MEP systems and ensure work is completed to the highest standards of craftsmanship and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Scheduling & Reporting: Develop and maintain project schedules, managing any risks to timelines or delays. Provide regular reports on progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in managing MEP projects in the commercial fit-out sector, ideally within high-profile or complex environments.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, particularly within the context of large fit-out projects.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Solid understanding of project budgeting, cost control, and health and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
