Location: London
Salary: Up to 拢95,000 per annum + package

An opportunity has arisen for a high-profile role with a Tier One contractor delivering major projects for Thames Water. The Senior Project Manager / Project Director will oversee the successful execution of water and wastewater projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, adherence to safety standards, and delivery excellence. The role offers hybrid working within the Thames region and reports directly to the Operations Manager / Framework Director.

Key Responsibilities
路Promote exceptional safety and quality standards across all project activities.
路Ensure implementation of the Business Management System (BMS) throughout project delivery, from tender handover to completion.
路Maintain strong client relationships and uphold the company's reputation with partners and suppliers.
路Plan, direct, and monitor projects, including approving and overseeing the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
路Prepare and approve detailed construction plans and method statements before work commences.
路Ensure accurate and timely reporting of non-conformities and related costs.
路Manage all commercial aspects of the project proactively, providing precise forecasts and estimates.
路Oversee resource planning to ensure availability of trained personnel and clarity of individual responsibilities.
路Foster customer satisfaction by addressing their requirements and enhancing their experience.
路Lead governance reviews and actively manage risk and opportunities to optimize outcomes.
路Maintain expertise in water and wastewater design and construction, applying best practices from scheme conception to completion.
路Stay updated on industry innovations through networking and professional development.

About the Candidate
Essential:
路Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary design and construction projects, ideally within the water industry.
路Degree or equivalent qualification in construction, commercial, or engineering disciplines.
路Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent.
路Strong leadership, oral, and written communication skills.
路Ability to set targets, motivate teams, and deliver projects to time, cost, and quality standards.
路Extensive experience in project delivery, including strategic and operational management.
路Knowledge of NEC and/or IChemE construction contracts and the ability to negotiate and administer them.
路Familiarity with CDM regulations and construction health and safety standards.
路Risk and opportunity management expertise.

Desirable:
路Experience in water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
路Chartered status in an engineering, commercial, or construction institution.
路NEC Project Manager Accreditation.
