About the Role:

We are representing an award winning project management consultancy seeking a talented Senior Project Manager to join their Project Management Team in London. This is a unique opportunity to lead a diverse range of projects, from community-driven initiatives to large-scale developments, all while working within a dynamic and supportive team environment.


The successful candidate will have no shortage of interesting projects to deliver from work within the University, Healthcare, Public Realm and Private Investment sector.


In this medium-sized national consultancy, you will be an integral part of a successful multidisciplinary team, contributing to its growth and development. Your input will be valued, and there will be significant opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Senior Project Manager, you will:
  • Lead Complex Projects: Oversee a portfolio of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Client Interface: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Strategic Consultancy: Provide expert advice and strategic insight to clients, guiding them through the project lifecycle.
  • Set Project Parameters: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, aligning them with client requirements and business goals.
  • Quality and Safety Management: Implement and uphold rigorous quality and safety standards across all project phases.
  • Detailed Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project progress, ensuring alignment with project plans and identifying any deviations.
  • Change Management: Manage project changes effectively, ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining project integrity.
  • Financial Management and Reporting: Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: A degree in construction, real estate, project management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing real estate projects, ideally within a consultancy setting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a knack for client interaction and team collaboration.
  • Professional Membership: Affiliation with professional bodies such as RICS, PMI, or CIOB is advantageous.
