Earth Wind & Hire is working with a global solar independent power producer with in excess of 5+ GW of operational solar farms around the world. They have a growing UK piepline in excess of 1+ GW to be constructed and energised over the next 3 years.
They are therefore looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple utility-scale solar PV projects across the UK. This pivotal role involves managing every aspect of project execution, including timelines, budgets, and quality, while driving successful outcomes for active construction projects and supporting the development pipeline.
The Senior Project Manager will oversee construction progress, cost control, budget forecasting, and documentation, working closely with contractors, on-site teams, and internal stakeholders. This position also includes managing RFP processes for future projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the delivery of multiple utility-scale solar PV projects from start to finish.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with EPCs, ICPs, contractors, and internal teams to drive successful outcomes.
- Negotiate and manage EPC and ICP contracts to optimize project delivery.
- Oversee project reporting, including construction progress, contractor performance, budget tracking, and compliance with Health & Safety standards.
- Support development and M&A activities by providing technical and project-related input.
- Coordinate RFP processes for upcoming construction activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with expertise in utility-scale solar PV projects in the UK.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects efficiently and effectively.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to foresee and address potential project challenges.
- Valid driving license and flexibility to visit project sites as required.
- Based in or near London, with a hybrid (2 days) working arrangement.
